Why subscribe?
I love connecting with chiropractic students and docs; we’re all on a mission to make the world a healthier place, and it’s an honor to call you colleagues in this mission. I have the opportunity to meet hundreds of you each year, so this Substack is my attempt to offer a connection to me while still fitting my schedule.
I am a wife and mother in addition to working as a chiropractor in my practice, owning and running my practice, writing books and newsletters, and teaching nationally and internationally. You’re busy, too. I have a yearning to be of service and offer some amount of mentorship outside of seminars that I teach, and I’ve had several requests to fill that role for a handful of students and docs.
Sometimes people want more connection with me or a simple touch point to know they’re not alone in their “weird” ways of existing in the world (because you know I’m not doing normal things over here!). Sometimes they’re just asking “what would Mumma do?” and want to know the answer.
And, quite frankly, I answer lots of the same questions repeatedly, so I’d much rather answer them in a shared space and let multiple people hear the responses.
Learn in Community
One of the beautiful aspects of being part of Dr. Kevin Christie’s MCM Mastermind is that I’ve gotten to learn from other doctors asking questions. Sometimes they have the same questions I do, but other times, they’re asking questions I’ve never thought of, but appreciate hearing perspectives and answers to.
I want to share that same gift with you, but in an extremely affordable and concise way (read: I am by no means offering all of the benefits of KC’s Mastermind).
Plan for a monthly call (not at a specific time at this point: wherever it fits into my schedule, honestly) where I will present some specific topic—ranging from clinical to business to personal to motherhood to being a human in the world who cares about health—followed by answering your questions.
I expect this space to unfold organically and for it to morph and transform into whatever it needs to be, for both of us.
My intention is thus: connect with and help students and new docs; do so at a price they can afford; do so in a relaxed way that I can sustain.
When I am talking or typing, I am addressing the female 5th tri through first three years of practice doc, because I remember being her and wanting this. But if you’re a male who’s been practicing for 36 years, you’re totally welcome here and so are your questions and presence.
There is no free subscription option for this. This is an exchange. I give and receive; you give and receive. If you’d like to read what I’m writing for all, you can subscribe to lindsaymumma.substack.com.
Along with your subscription, you’ll also get publication archives, meaning you can access all past publications. Want to discontinue your subscription? No problem: go with love and my gratitude at any time. You’ll be welcome back if you want to hop back in. I want this to be easy to join, easy to leave.
Stay up-to-date
Every new post is sent directly to your email inbox. For a spam-free, ad-free reading experience, plus audio and community features, you can get the Substack app, but I don’t actually use the app (or most apps, for that matter), so I can’t speak to what that experience is like.
Thank you for being here. I look forward to connecting.
If you’re looking to snag some time on my calendar individually, you can do so here.
With gratitude,
Lindsay
